Junior QA Specialist (Manual)
Location
Wrocław, Kielce, Szczecin or remotely
We are not looking for another ordinary bug finder, we are looking for a new valuable member of our team who is way more than just a tester.
Our stack includes, first and foremost, React, Node.js, and sometimes TypeScript. We specialize in startups at their beginnings (MVP), which makes the job very diverse and challenging. We are focusing mostly on manual testing with the priority set on API, acceptance and end-to-end testing.
You must be quality-oriented and willing to act! At this point, you don’t have to be the absolute best and the most experienced, but this must be your goal.
- Required skills: experience with min. 1 commercial project, knowledge of Agile Software Life Cycle, experience in exploratory tests
- Nice to have: ISEB/ISTQB certificate, SQL basics

About the role - Technical:
- Work closely with developers, SM, PO, clients to assure products’ highest quality
- Execute test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences
- Cooperation with developers and analysts in creating specifications for new functionalities
- Building test scenarios, test cases, user scenarios and bug reporting
Tools you’ll use:

- Jira, Miro and Figma
- Knowledge repository: Confluence and GitHub
- BrowserStack
- Apple MacBook Pro and... Nivona (best coffee machine ever!)

- Detail-oriented and quality-centred approach to software development

- Software testing in an Agile development process

- Good self-organizational skills

- English level min B2 (writing and speaking)
Your first three months in MasterBorn:
- 1st month: the first month of work you will get to know the company, projects and people. You will learn about our work style and the tools we use. You will also get introduced to the project in which you will work
- 2nd month: the second month, you will take over responsibility in the project to which you are assigned. You will support the team in quality assurance. You will also start working with the client
- 3rd month: the third month, you will become involved in supporting the organization in spreading good QA practices. By this time you should already have the appropriate knowledge to tell us what we should improve/change/do better
