Junior Product Designer

• Required: at least 1 year of commercial experience in a similar position, great portfolio with at least one UI desktop project; understanding of UX rules; written and spoken English (C1 level) and Polish (C1),
• Nice to have: Agile and Problem-Solving Mindset

About the role:

• Being responsible for creating useful and eye-pleasing designs including landing pages, web applications, dashboards
• Creating interactive prototypes to demonstrate your design
• Preparing user flow and low-fidelity wireframes based on the requirements of the client.
• Attending meetings with the client where we set all of the requirements
• Participating in in-house meetings where the Product Designer, Developers and Proxy Product Owners create requirements for the application
• Presenting your ideas to the team and incorporating feedback from your mentor and Proxy Product Owner
• Preparing marketing assets for projects (Dribbble shots, Facebook Ads) as well as for internal company purposes

• Figma, FigJam/Miro
• Jira
• Slack, GSuite

We'll be happy to see that you:

• Have a great portfolio with at least one UI desktop project
• Have knowledge of design programs (we work in Figma, but PS, AI are always helpful)
• Are fluent in English and Polish (C1 level) to communicate with the Team and clients easily
• Are willing to learn from experienced designers how to serve top U.S. Founders and CEOs
• Effectively communicate with the product managers and a supporting Designer
• Understand a target user, evaluate current products from a UX perspective, participate in design workshops

Great to have:

• Illustrating skills
• Branding skills
• Experience in preparing marketing assets (Dribbble shots, Facebook Posts)

First three months in MasterBorn:

• 1st month: You will shadow your mentor, to understand how our work is organized, and learn more about the company values and our approach to clients. You will join one of your buddy’s projects, participate in weekly calls with the client, receive your first task to start with
• Next months: You will get more tasks based on your approach and ability to handle your previous task. After the 1st month, you will have the first feedback session with your mentor where you can both decide what is the most interesting for you and where you need to gain more experience - you will set your expectations. Based on the settlement from the above meeting, you will be told about your next steps. The ultimate goal is to become a self-standing Product Designer that can serve clients arm in arm with the development team.
